The Punch newspaper has reported how a randy lecturer in an unnamed Nigerian university insisted on having sex with a married female student even when he believed that the student was pregnant.

The report which x-rayed sexual harassments of female students by lecturers said the female student faked pregnancy in order to ward off pressure from her male lecturer.
“I am wearing something to fake a pregnancy. I am just coming from a meeting with my lecturer. He has been harassing me, demanding that he must sleep with me before I will pass his course. I have been pleading with him to leave me alone but he will not listen,” The Punch quoted the unnamed student as saying.
“Before the school went on break, I told him I just got married, but he said that would not stop him from sleeping with me. Fortunately, he has not seen me since we resumed after the long break. So, when he called again to ask me to meet him, I told him I would see him in a public place first. He agreed. So I had to wear this costume under my dress to pretend I was pregnant.
“He was disappointed when he saw me. He fell for it and he believed I was actually pregnant. I was surprised when he asked me if he could still sleep with me even with the pregnancy, but I told him my doctor advised against it because I was having complications.”

  1. Evil thrives when the good people say nothing. Your report protects the perpetrator and even the Punch Newspaper makes the pervert to be anonymous. Education is destroyed in Nigeria because of bad eggs like this so called lecturer that is bent on professional incest. There is no law in the country protecting the integrity of education and no protection for women in our higher education institutions. How can women compete and have opportunities in an environment where they are constantly harassed? How do we build a society on the foundation of injustice and oppression of women? This is a sad story that is made even more sad by the reporting technique that protects criminals. Cry the beloved country.
