Udoedehe appointed into committee for ACN merger talk

Senator James Akpan Udoedehe has been appointed into a 19-member committee to represent and negotiate for the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) in its planned merger talk with the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) and the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP).
Chief Tom Ikimi is the chairman of the committee.
Members of the committee as announced by the party National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, include Aremo Olusegun Osoba, Otunba Niyi Adebayo, Governors Babatunde Fashola and Rauf Aregbesola, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyawu, Sen. George Akume and Hon.Abike Dabiri-Erewa.  Others are: Sen. Lawal Shuaibu, Chief Audu Ogbe, Chief Achike Udenwa, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, Sen. Chris Ngige, Dr. Usman Bugaje, Hadjia Rabiat Eshak, Dr. Ibrahim Y. Lame, Alhaji Yusuf Ali and Alhaji Lai Mohammed.

Udoedehe’s appointment into such a sensitive committee in ACN may have somehow brought to an end the speculations that the ACN flag bearer for the 2011 governorship election in Akwa Ibom State was planning to go back to PDP ahead of the 2015 election.
