Jungle Justice: Community in Akwa Ibom Roast Four Kinsmen Over Alleged Robbery

Four alleged armed robbers were recently roasted to death in Ibianga Asakpa, Oruk Anam local government area, Akwa Ibom State.
The alleged robbers were said to have gone to the community to rob residents of the area.

The Sensor Crime Desk gathered that the said robbers successfully carried out the operations in the early hours and returned to their camp before they met their waterloo.

It was further learnt that one of the gang members opened fire and shot one of their victims (a woman) when he realized that the woman would mention his name. The woman who is lying critically ill in an undisclosed hospital in the state was said to have informed her kinsmen about one of the alleged robbers she was able to identify.

Members of the community swopped into action and arrested four of the robbers while the gang was sharing their loots and feasting on one of the goats they stole. They were taken to the village square where they were set ablaze alongside items recovered from them.

An eye witness said members of the community further proceeded to the house that the gang members were arrested and set it ablaze. The four gang members who are from Ikot Effiong, Ikot Owure, Odoro Ikot and Ikot Iwara had been a thorn in the flesh of the community before nemesis caught up with them.
