PDP Crisis: Will the allegations against Gov. Akpabio have negative impact on Akwa Ibom politics? Share your thought and opinion here.

Gov. Godswill Akpabio

The Akwa Ibom State Government, through a public statement by the SSG, Mr. Udom Emmanuel, has denied the allegation contained in some national dailies that Gov. Godswill Akpabio has an ambition to become the president or vice president of Nigeria. Few days ago, PDP through its National Publicity secretary, Mr. Olisa Metuh, denied the allegation contained in some national dailies that Gov. Akpabio was mobilising the party against its National Chairman, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur. Olisa Metuh was quoted as saying, “Our investigations revealed that the opposition, in their desperation to deceive Nigerians, have recruited political mercenaries who are heavily paid as hatchet men to fabricate and plant spurious and malicious reports in the media to stigmatise Akpabio and the PDP and taint them before Nigerians.”

What damaging impact do you think these allegations could have on Gov. Godswill Akpabio and the Akwa Ibom politics? Please share your opinion. Thank you.
