Breaking News: Tribunal cancels Bassey Albert’s election, orders for re-run in 38 polling units

The National Assembly Election Petitions Tribunal for Akwa Ibom State has faulted INEC declaration of Mr. Bassey Albert Akpan as the validly elected senator for Uyo Senatorial District, Akwa Ibom State.

The Tribunal which gave its judgment on Tuesday has accordingly ordered for another election between PDP’s Bassey Albert Akpan and his APC opponent, Mr. Emmanuel Obot in 38 polling units in some local government areas that make up the Uyo Senatorial District.
