Two former governors of the Peoples Democratic Party have been fingered as the arrow head of the revolt against President Muhammadu Buhari and his party in the choice of the Senate President and the Speaker of the House of Representatives.
The two politicians who are former governors of a South-South and South-East states, are said to be the main financiers of the revolt against the president and his party, the APC.

The vice presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, has said that “resource control is something Nigerians should keep negotiating because if you produce resources you ought to be adequately compensated for it.”
Yemi Osinbajo who stated this, Wednesday, during an interaction in Uyo with youths drawn from the South South region of the country, said APC administration will promote true federalism in Nigeria.
Osinbajo gave reasons why ethnic-based groups like Afenifere, Ohaneze Ndigbo and Arewa Consultative Forum where flourishing in Nigeria. “It is the failures of government that make Nigerians feel safe and comfortable under groups like Afenifere, Arewa and others.

After his defeat in the recent Osun governorship election, the PDP candidate, Senator Iyiola Omisore is reported to have blamed INEC for it.
According to a news report in The Punch newspaper, the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Osun State, Senator Iyiola Omisore, has said that his loss at the Saturday election is due to the malpractices perpetrated by a former Resident Electoral Commissioner in the state.
