Ex-minister, Obong Rita Akpan blasts U.S-based Thompson Essien: ‘You are a malicious liar, serial blackmailer and overzealous wimp’

Think Akwa Ibom! gathered that Mr. Thompson Essien, a U.S-based Akwa Ibom indigene, cooked up some lies which he spread about the APC governorship candidate, Mr. Umana Okon Umana on the Internet.  Mr. Essien did not only lie that Umana paid a whooping N4 Billion to APC to emerge as the party’s flag bearer in the forthcoming governorship election in Akwa Ibom State, but claimed that the 'information' was let out by the former minister of Women Affairs, Obong RitaAkpan. A furious Rita Akpan (pictured above) fired back at Thompson Essien with an open letter which has already been published on the Internet.
