Senator Esuene listed as owner of firm, Plasto Crown, which owes Ecobank N11million

Two more banks – FCMB and ECOBANK – today published lists of defaulted debtors in the ongoing name and shame campaign of banks’ delinquent debtors initiated by the Central Bank of Nigeria.
The Punch newspaper reports that “Plasto Crown Nigeria Limited, a firm belonging to a former Minister of Environment and Housing, Lady Helen Esuene, and other people, is said to owe Ecobank N11.1m.”
Esuene, a former senator who represented Eket Senatorial District, Akwa Ibom State, is one woman with great reputation in business and politics. She contested the April 2015 governorship election in Akwa Ibom State as a candidate of the Labour Party. It is most likely that she will, in the coming days, tell the world her own side of the story.
