Amarachi, until the fatal incident, was an SS1 student in
Itam Secondary School, Akwa Ibom State.
Her body hasn’t been

“The rain was very heavy, to the point that caused water to
flood everywhere such that you cannot identify the road and gutter. So, when
the little girl came, she did not know that the direction she was going was
gutter. As she step her feet in the water and fell into the roadside gutter,
the speed of the flood swept her away. So, the person that wanted to help her
out could not because the speed of the flood was strong; suddenly, it dragged
her away,” the report quoted an eye witness, one Nnamso Sunday, as saying.
