Femi Falana who is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria yesterday
denied granting such interview to Channel television.
The fake interview has been
traced to Government House, Uyo.
Think Akwa Ibom! learned that in
order to douse the tension that followed the discovery that the fake interview
was produced by some newly appointed media officers in the Akwa Ibom Government
House, Governor Udom Emmanuel called Falana about 9:15pm yesterday to
apologized on behalf of the Akwa Ibom State government.
Udom Emmanuel was said to have
promised the legal luminary that he would order an investigation to unravel the
people in his government who were behind the fake interview.
“Please sir, I am pleading with
you to allow us time to look into this,” the governor was quoted as having
said.
