Etido Inyang’s hope of getting works ministry dashed, as Udom assigns portfolios to commissioners

Mr. Etido Inyang who had succeeded in beating the former works commissioner, Mr. Don Etim to make it to the newly inaugurated cabinet of Governor Udom Emmanuel, may have had his hope of clinching the juicy works ministry dashed, after all. The governor has assigned the ministry to his kinsman, Mr. Ephraim Inyang. Inyang, Think Akwa Ibom! gathered, was initially scheduled for the position of chief of staff to the governor, but was rejected by the former governor Godswill Akpabio who, in addition to his, Onoma and Sir Emem Akpabio, determines who gets what in the new government.
