What on earth could push a father to have sex with his daughter?



The headline in page two of today’s Saturday Punch was really eye-catching! It reads: “My father said he would die if I refused him sex – Paula, 17-year old abused girl”. This sort of news isn’t news anymore in Nigeria, because of the frequency of its occurrence – fathers having sex with their daughters. But why? Why? Why? What on earth is pushing Nigerian fathers to turn their little sweet daughters into a play thing? How can our society tackle this abominable trend? You’ve got an idea or comment?
