What on earth could push a father to have sex with his daughter?
The headline in page two
of today’s Saturday Punch was really eye-catching! It reads: “My father said he
would die if I refused him sex – Paula, 17-year old abused girl”. This sort of
news isn’t news anymore in Nigeria, because of the frequency of its occurrence –
fathers having sex with their daughters. But why? Why? Why? What on earth is
pushing Nigerian fathers to turn their little sweet daughters into a play
thing? How can our society tackle this abominable trend? You’ve got an idea or
comment? Please kindly put it down here. Thanks.
