Asuncion (AFP) - The case of a 10-year-old girl raped and impregnated by her stepfather has triggered outrage in Paraguay, where the health minister has blocked her from having an abortion.

Driver rapes 15-year-old housemaid, blames the devil

The Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps has arrested a driver, Olusegun Ajayi, for allegedly raping a 15-year-old housemaid in Arepo, Ogun State.

The NSCDC authorities said the suspect had canal knowledge of the girl which caused her to bleed for two days.

What on earth could push a father to have sex with his daughter?

The headline in page two of today’s Saturday Punch was really eye-catching! It reads: “My father said he would die if I refused him sex – Paula, 17-year old abused girl”. This sort of news isn’t news anymore in Nigeria, because of the frequency of its occurrence – fathers having sex with their daughters. But why? Why? Why?
