The visit which took place over the weekend has generated
intense debate among Akwa Ibom people, with some people speculating that
Akpabio and Udom want the former president to help beg Tinubu and Buhari on
their behalf, because of the ongoing cases in the election petition tribunal.
“Evil
men on an evil mission. I should have included Prelate Sunday Mbang in my
recent article against political pastors. If they like let them visit Barrack
Obama, no army can stop an idea whose time has come. Two things are inevitable;
there will be a fresh election in Akwa Ibom State and Godswill Akpabio must be
prosecuted for corruption,” Mr. Inibehe Effiong, human rights activist, commented
on the visit.
