Election tribunal: See faces of those who were there, and why Udom moved entire A’Ibom govt to court room

Think Akwa Ibom! gathered from a source within Udom Emmanuel’s cabinet that the governor became visibly disturbed after his predecessor and godfather, Godswill Akpabio informed him and other PDP chieftains in Akwa Ibom State that information emanating from the Akwa Ibom Government Election Tribunal indicates that there might be fresh governorship election in the state.

Mr. Emmanuel, according to the source, wanted all his commissioners, aides and other PDP loyalists to be physically present at the tribunal to witness and feel the tribunal proceedings on their own, so that they could arrive at personal judgment on how serious the Umana’s threat is to their political survival. In other words, Emmanuel wants his commissioners to prepare for fresh election.
Almost all the members of the state executive council and the executive members of Akwa Ibom State chapter of PDP were in the tribunal. Some of those who were lucky to have a seat inside the courtroom include:
Sir Emem Akpabio, the patriarch of the Akpabio family,
Obong Paul Ekpo, PDP State Chairman,
Hon. Aniekan Uko, Speaker, Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly
Mr. Aniekan Umanah, Commissioner for Information
Engr. Etido Inyang, Commissioner for Special Duties
Mr. Enobong Uwah, Commissioner for Housing and Urban Renewal
Mr. Emmanuel Ibiok, Commissioner for Culture
Mr. Ibanga Etang, former chairman of Esit Eket Local Government Area
