Opinion: End Of The Road For Udom –2, By Iboro Otongaran

By Iboro Otongaran
The first serial of this prophetic utterance about the end for evildoers which was first published on Wednesday last week was well received by those with grace for discernment, but Ata Ikiddeh, my friend and son of the late Akwa Ibom icon of letters, Professor Ime Ikiddeh, not too long ago head of English at the University of Uyo, dismissed the write-up as premature. He was not alone. The tribe of unschooled propagandists misleading Udom Emmanuel (apologies, Torobong Ekpo), all of them to a man, poured scorn on the prophetic conclusion that Udom and his clan of election robbers had come to the last bus stop.

Captain Iniobong Ekong exhibits indifference towards Udom’s travails at tribunal, pre-occupies himself with sharing family fun photos

While the heat from the Akwa Ibom Governorship Election Tribunal is becoming intense against Mr. Udom Emmanuel, this man, Captain Iniobong Ekong (rtd.), a former security adviser to Godswill Akpabio, and one of the bad guys who fixed the election for Udom is busy holidaying with his family in New York, U.S, and sharing on Facebook photos of ‘fun-filled family time at Time Square, NY’. Of course, Ekong seems to know the truth – that Udom will be removed at the tribunal. Hmmmm, I guess this might serve as a lesson for some of those ‘busy-bodies’ who are prowling around the net, thinking of sustaining a mandate that wasn’t given to Udom Emmanuel in the first instance.
