The sad news we are tracking this moment is that the
Director of Finance in the Interim Management Board of the Niger Delta
Development (NDDC), Chief Ibanga Etang, is dead.
One of the media officials in the All Progressives
Congress (APC) in Akwa Ibom state, Imaobong Akpan Akpan, confirmed the sad news
in a Facebook post on Thursday morning.
“He died at about 2am today, Thursday, at the
Braithwaite Memorial Hospital, Port Harcourt after a brief illness,” Ms Akpan
said in the post.
Mr Etang is a former chairman of Esit Eket Local
Government Area, Akwa Ibom state.
He was a member of the APC.
