U.S Ambassador marks Black History Month with visit to Abuja school



The U.S Ambassador in Nigeria, Ambassador W. Stuart Symington, visited New Capital School in Asokoro, Abuja, on Friday to mark the Black History Month.

The former senator, who is from Ikono Local Government Area, represented Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District in the Senate from 2007 to 2015. He was succeeded by the former governor of Akwa Ibom State, Godswill Akpabio, who is the Senate Minority Leader.
Dr. Etuk, apart from being a politician, is an entrepreneur and the owner of the prestigious Fortune Secondary School, Uyo.
He is a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Akwa Ibom State.

The certificates were issued on Friday by the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Mr. Udo Ekpenyong, on behalf of Governor Udom Emmanuel.
