Former Miss Nigeria who keeps her skin glowing by routinely drinking own urine

Former Miss Nigeria, Amina Ekpo says the secret of her polished and ever-glowing skin is in urine therapy. Simply put, Amina Ekpo maintains her skin beauty by routinely drinking her own urine.Ekpo, the 44th Miss Nigeria shares her stunning revelation in a lengthy testimonial she published on the net.

“Urine therapyis the body detoxification method at my finger tip with absolutely zero financial cost to me,” she says in the testimonial.

“detoxification involves fasting on strictly one’s own urine and the drinking of only room temperature water for a full three days (72hrs), then rubbing one’s own urine on the body day and night after bathing during those three days fast period then breaking the fast after 72 hrs subtly with fruits and vegetables and gradually returning to cooked food.”

Ekpo says urine therapy was introduced to her at age 15 as some kind of antidote against malaria and typhoid by her late father, Sir Francis Eyo Ekpo, a retired major in the Nigerian Army who once served as the chairman of Uyo local government council in Akwa Ibom State.

“While the urine therapy helped me become less sickly, I noticed it didn't stop it all together but instead I discovered that it gave my skin a fantastic glow and youthful radiance that I loved.”

“Even though I had psoriasis that affected my scalp, face and neck, it was hard to tell because I had learnt over the years how to manage it. This included controlling my exposure to intense heat from the sun, sleeping out my physical stress, then maintaining good emotional and psychological states by deep and swift forgiveness and the feelings of love and compassion.”

“People sometimes wonder why my skin looks the way it does and most times, I find it hard to tell that I believe it is influenced by the ‘original’ urine therapy that I still do at least twice a year and have maintained because of how much I love the effect it has on my skin.”
