The former minister of petroleum, Atuekong Don Etiebet has been appointed the chairman, University of Jos (UNIJOS) Governing Council.
The appointment, approved by President Goodluck Jonathan, was announced on Wednesday, April, 3, 2013 by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator Ayim Pius Ayim.
Other members of the UNIJOS Governing Council are:
Hon. Tunde Akogan Anthony, Alhaji Adamu Janfala and Mrs. Uju Ukoka.
It could be recalled that the federal government had
earlier appointed Senator Effiong Bob, also from Akwa Ibom State, as the
chairman, University of Benin Governing Council.
