The Sun Vice Chairman, Dimgba Igwe, was this morning knocked down by a vehicle while jogging around his residence in the Okota area of Lagos State, the Punch newspaper reports.
Igwe sustained a fatal injury and was immediately taken to the hospital where he underwent surgery. He died afterwards.
The Chairman of the Sun Publishing Limited, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu, expressed great shock on hearing about the incident. He described the day as the darkest day in the history of the organisation.
