Again, Election Tribunal Dismisses Udom’s Objection

The Akwa Ibom Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Abuja has struck out a motion raised by Mr. Udom Emmanuel which sought to stop the APC governorship candidate, Mr. Umana Okon Umana from presenting additional witnesses.

Delivering its ruling few minutes ago, the tribunal said Umana’s application to bring in additional witnesses did not violate any provision of the law and that it was rather for the sustenance of the APC candidate’s petition before the tribunal. The tribunal said it granted Umana’s petition for the interest of justice.
