Udom as instrument of Akpabio’s injustice against Ntekim, others

This isn’t about whether the immediate past SSG, Mr. Udom Emmanuel has been a member of PDP up to one year or two years, neither is it about the morality of Gov. Godswill Akpabio hand-picking Udom as the man that should succeed him as the next Akwa Ibom governor in 2015. It is injustice and clear wickedness to use government-owned platforms like the official facebook page of the Akwa Ibom State Government (as pictured above) to campaign for Udom Emmanuel while completely shutting off governorship aspirants like Ekpenyong Ntekim who didn’t have any squabble with Emperor Godswill Akpabio before they resigned their appointments from Akpabio’s cabinet. It’s understandable if you are against Mr. Umana Okon Umana, Obong Bassey Albert, Obong Nsima Ekere, and Bishop Samuel Akpan, but not with Ntekim. Or is Ntekim also blacklisted as Akpabio’s enemy? Hmmmm. Akpabio seems not to be getting anything right, these days!

Several attempts by the state Governor, Chief Godswill Akpabio to impose his perceived gubernatorial aspirant on the state, recently hit the brick wall as some Akwa Ibom stakeholders stormed out of a meeting convened at his instance.

The PDP stakeholders who were apparently divided on the choice of the state governor, described the governor's succession plan as not in the spirit of equity, justice and fairness in view of the three major nationalities in the state.
