Udom ignores threats from Ini people, appoints Anwatim caretaker chairman

Mr.Etetim Anwatim, the immediate past chairman of Ini local government area, has been appointed chairman, Transition Committee, otherwise known as Caretaker Committee, for the area, despite threats by Ini people to defect from the Peoples Democratic Party. Other past chairmen of local government councils that have been appointed by Gov. Udom Emmanuel to head the transition committees in their local government areas are: Mr. Kenneth Okon (Etinan), Mr. Ephraim Akpan (Mkpat Enin), Mr. Orman Esin (Oron), Mr. Anthony Akan (Uruan), Mr. Ufot S. Akpan (Onna)
