The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has received a fresh petition against a former Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Senator Godswill Akpabio.

Yesterday was the birthday of the immediate past Akwa Ibom first lady, Mrs. Unoma Akpabio. Interestingly, there were no adverts on the papers and local radio stations heaping praises and goodwill on the woman of great influence on the state politics who was unfittingly nicknamed ‘Mother Theresa of Akwa Ibom State’ by her husband, Chief Godswill Akpabio. Hmmmmm. How time flies, and how transient is power!
