Justice Danladi Umar of the Code of Conduct Tribunal has
ordered that a bench warrant should be issued on the Senate President, Dr.
Bukola Saraki, for failing to appear to answer charges bordering on assets
declaration, The Punch newspaper has
reported.

Representatives. The two politicians who are former governors of a South-South and South-East
states, are said to be the main financiers of the revolt against the president
and his party, the APC.
A former governor was elected Tuesday as head of Nigeria's Senate — the

cracks appearing in the coalition that brought President Muhammadu Buhari to
power.

Senate by 57 of 108 Senators, with 51 Senators, including Sen. Ahmed Lawan,
absent. The other Senators were at the International Conference Centre at the
