Police in Akwa Ibom release emergency numbers (Get all the numbers here)


The updated emergency hotlines, including the phone numbers of all the divisional police stations in Akwa Ibom state, was released on July 2, 2020 by the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, CSP N-Nudam K. Fredrick.

For obvious safety and security reasons, it is advisable for people, especially in Akwa Ibom state, to have these latest police emergency hotlines.

A newspaper publisher in Nigeria has been suspended from a local press union for publishing fake stories.
The suspended journalist, Ephraim Ikpe, was reported to the union for using The Waves Newspaper, a local newspaper he publishes in Akwa Ibom State, to run fake stories against Cletus Ukpong who is PREMIUM TIMES’ south south editor.

Senator Bassey Albert in a surprise visit to popular drinking spot in Uyo

Senator Bassey Albert, popularly called OBA (pictured above, sitted, with Mr. Nature Udoh standing besides him), made a surprise stop over at a popular drinking spot, Discovery Park, in Uyo, over the weekend.
Senator Albert, who is the Chairman, Senate Committee on Gas Resources, represents Uyo Senatorial District.
Discovery Park is located near the Uyo Township Stadium, along Udo Umana Street. The business owner, Mr. Nature Udoh, shared photos of the senator’s visit on Facebook.
