The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Akwa Ibom State will resume
its Governorship Campaign tour of local government areas in the state on
Tuesday 10th March, with the first rally holding in Itu at the Local Government
Secretariat grounds by 10am.
A press release issued by the Media & Publicity
Committee of the Campaign Council stated that the tour will move to Obot Akara
and Essien Udim on Friday, 13th March. The following day, Saturday, the 14th
March, the party will take its message to the people in Uyo through a street
campaign branded as A Walk for Change, in which millions of party supporters
and members will peacefully match along designated streets to demonstrate their
love and support for the APC.
Details of the road show will be announced later in the
week. Party members and supporters are invited to participate fully in these
events.
